On behalf of the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL), we are delighted to welcome you to Barcelona for the 2016 ILC EASL Post-Graduate Course on ‘Management of liver tumours’.
This topic has a major impact in everyday practice in Hepatology and has seen key advances in the understanding and the clinical management of hepatic primary malignant of benign tumours that have been achieved in last decade. There are however many aspects that certainly deserve further attention, both in the understanding of molecular mechanisms of hepatocarcinogenesis, and in optimal multidisciplinary clinical management. The 2016 Post-Graduate Course is dedicated to all the current key clinical areas relative to liver tumours and will focus on a number of open issues requiring further scientific efforts.

Each year, the Post-Graduate Course highlights many clinical practice dilemmas and engages the audience with world-renowned experts on how to make the best management decisions to help patients with liver disease. A course syllabus will be produced and will be available in paper format in Barcelona as well as online in pdf format on the congress website.
